Nadine Zhan

Based in Brooklyn, NYC

Nadine Zhan is an artist from Brooklyn, New York. They were born to Chinese immigrants from Lianjiang, Fuzhou and began creating images on a green iphone 5C when they were 10. They grew up observing cultural influences from a Chinese background and New York lifestyle.

Their work is a reflection of how they are constantly learning something new about their family, identity, and surrounding community. Through an analog practice and experimental approach to image making, their process brings an archive of emotion within still images and a dedication to creating with intention.
